Birdhouse is a place where art and photography, comic strips and jokes, poetry and short stories, crafts and recipes all find a home to help us be less bored with life in Christ and with one another. If you would like to explore your talents and gifts along the lines of a theologically rich and joyful pursuit of what it means to have fantasy in Christ, humor in the world to come, and fun for the sake of others, then come by the garden and pull some weeds—but make sure to sing while you’re at it!

Birdhouse is a place where theology and philosophy are utilized to explore the imaginative truths of Christianity, the hilarious irony of God’s Word, and the Christian’s call to love others through aesthetic neighborliness. If you would like to contribute to the ongoing conversation about a Christian theory of imagination, the ethics of jesting, or a biblical theology of theatrics and art, then take your place at the head of the table and we will listen—but only if you make us laugh!
